The Ministries of Christ Church, Greenville
Our parish is involved in several ministries serving our local communities.
For many years, we have supported our Greenville area Food Pantry. By providing
food donations, financial gifts and volunteerism we continue the important work of
assisting local families in need. We are also active in the Greenville Interfaith Council,
working together with other local faiths to promote a sense of unity and understanding.
Christ Church also provides support to people who are homeless through the Capital City Rescue Mission in
Albany, NY. Please contact the parish if you are interested in participating in one of these fulfilling ministries!
Christ Church offers many opportunities to socialize and meet other parish members throughout the year!
Weekly Coffee Hour—a popular gathering, this occurs every Sunday immediately following the church service.
All are invited to enjoy refreshments and a good chat!
Potluck Suppers and Compline--this occurs throughout the year at 6:00 P.M. at the parish
house and is open to all! Bring a dish to pass and prepare for great food and great company!
The Book Club—meets once a month to discuss a book of spiritual nature to help us explore our
journey as Christians!
Bible Study—meets bi-weekly to discuss Bible selections relevant to the current bible readings.
We welcome insightful and challenging thoughts!
Annual Chicken Barbeque—held every summer on our parish lawn! Join us for fun, food and friendship!
Whether you are actively involved in the Episcopal Church or are searching for a new faith, we, at
Christ Church, invite you to pay us a visit!
